as alex tacked up the hyped up 3 year old she had to stop every once and a while and nudge her shoulder and the mare would stop then a few seconds later continue to fuss about having to stand still.. you could tell she was a former..and possibly once more a race horse just by the way she acted but as a trainer alexandra was determined to calm her down when needed and quicken her up on command that was what trainers do teach horses when its the right time to do the right thing... the horse had obviously been tacked up mutiple times you could eaisly see by how she would raise her hoof to be picked right when you leaned against her side.... once she was perfectly clean she slowly placed an all pourpose saddle she had on the horses back which layed above a hunter green saddle pad.... placing the girth on quickly and bridiling the impatient beast she walked her out into the ring.....
once in the ring she walked the horse around it once to get her used to her new surroundings she would school her new horse over fences if she behaved.... she walked over the mounting block making her stand still before she got on she elengantly placed her foot in the sturrup and got on she collected her reins and walked on...
the mares step was quick and hyper and she was in heat time for her first breedingalexandra thought to herself but she had to find a person who had a good stud....
